This post is part of an ongoing series at Blogs for McCain, which introduces prominent bloggers and their views on John McCain.
Anyone who has been paying attention to Hugh Hewitt’s blog over the past few months will have noticed that Hugh, and most of his guest bloggers, are not fans of Senator McCain. They preface their distate for the Senator by saying he’s a great American hero, but a bad legislator, and would make a terrible President.
Hugh just finished his latest book, “A Mormon In the White House: Ten Things Every American Should Know About Mitt Romney.” Now granted I haven’t read the book, but judging from the title, and what I’ve seen on Hugh’s blog–he is a big Mitt fan. (I did read Hugh’s book, “Blog“, which I highly recommend!)
Today at Hewett’s blog, Dean Barnett linked to a pro-McCain blog in South Carolina. His professed motive was that he had promised to say something nice about McCain–so he was paying it forward.
Hugh also recently invited Patrick Ruffini (a Rudy ‘08 consultant) to his blog. Excluding Dean’s post today, will Hugh eventually invite a pro-McCain blogger on-board?

No surprise to see that Hewitt was touting his book on Hannity and Colmes. The continued downplaying of McCain’s campaign and the recent dismissal of Rudy’s chances on the Fox News Channel mean any supporters of the other candidates will be more than welcome. It seems strange that Fox has not revealed its hand yet in the Republican race – apart from denigrating McCain and Giuliani. However, the way McCain’s campaign is picking up pace, Fox may well have to rethink its current opinions.

I have personally boycotted the news media, including Fox. Fair and balanced means one guy gets to lie and the other tells the truth.
Enough of the media and their cheap commercials for the tabloid trash and political propaganda. They are useless. They no longer have a following and are obsolete until McCain puts a stop to the free internet. Wake up America!!!! McCain and Hillary are the most disliked contenders so this race has been bought and paid for or both of them would hae been out of the race a long time ago.
