Democrats on Crisis: “It’s good politics for us.”

Via the Obama Broadcasting Network, A/K/A the Associated Press:

At an Obama rally in Roanoke, Va., later Sunday, Bill Clinton said Bush’s response to the financial crisis is helping Obama’s campaign. “The administration keeps plowing an Uzi’s worth of bullets into the McCain-Palin ticket every time they have something else go wrong,” Clinton told an evening rally of several hundred people gathered at Roanoke’s downtown Market Square. “It’s good politics for us.”

How’d this one get past the censors! And who said Bill Clinton was cocky? It’s been widely argued that Bill always means to say what he says. He’s deliberative.

So is he now twisting the knife in his “respected” friend John McCain, or is he intentionally trying to harm Obama’s campaign with this “financial crisis is good politics for us” rhetoric, reminiscent of Harry “losing the war means we’ll pick up seats” Reid?

And what about the oh so cheery Joe Biden? He’s not angry, he’s just excited, about raising taxes that is:

His voice rising, the Delaware senator shouted: “It is unpatriotic to take $100 billion offshore and not pay your taxes! That is unpatriotic! So I don’t need a lecture on patriotism! I’ve had it to here!”
